the bobaloo! story
bobaloo! began when Samantha Howard found herself bombarded with baby showers to attend. Having been a handmade gift-giver since high school, she naturally designed and made gifts for all those sweet babies. After hearing "You should sell this!" enough times, she took the plunge and started selling her modern, useful baby and kid products to happy gift-givers everywhere.
bobaloo! has grown leaps and bounds, and is now available online and in stores across the US. Just like in the beginning, each product is handmade with love and attention in central Indiana by a team of women who love to sew. Currently bobaloo! is produced in two seasonal lines, Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter, providing new fabrics and fresh products twice a year.
bobaloo! is sold straight to consumers through the website and through select baby boutiques and gift stores. Interested in being a bobaloo! retailer? Just click on "wholesale" above to get started!
Samantha has been sewing since she was young, and has always loved being crafty. Her house is full of fabric, glitter, and beads, and there's nothing she likes more than a leisurely browse through a fabric store.
Samantha teaches occasional sewing classes and hosts a regular craft night in her home sewing studio. She also designs patterns and was recently published in Stitch Magazine. She has two kiddos (one is the original Bobaloo) and lives in Indianapolis, Indiana.
